Dr. Sonya Narla is a board-certified family medicine physician, educator, bioethicist, and writer. She practices primary care for all age groups, newborn through geriatric, in Phoenix, AZ. She earned her D.O. from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, and her M.A. in Bioethics and B.A. in English from Case Western Reserve University. She has extensive experience in Global Health and understands that there can be many different barriers to good health. She is passionate about advocacy, social determinants of health, mental health and wellness, and preventive care. Dr. Narla strives to make evidence-based health education accessible and approachable – to be the doctor next door.

In her personal time, she enjoys reading fiction, a good cup of coffee, cooking and trying new foods, spending time with family and friends, and hiking with her husband and 4-year-old GSP pup.
